Isabelle Garbani, founder & web designer
From 1995 to 2002, I worked as a digital artist for
software companies in the Boston area, among them Papyrus Design
Group, Turbine Entertainment, and Looking Glass. I moved to New
York City in 2002 to pursue an MFA in sculpture, and graduated in
2004. You can see some of my work at www.garbanisculpture.com
I started Website for Artists in May of 2006 out of
a desire to have a more flexible schedule, offer a great service
to the Art community and divide my time between work I enjoy (computer
graphics) and work that define me, fine art.
As an artist, I understand the needs of an artist's
life: balancing time in the studio, with the need to promote and
market the artwork... and the need to make a living.
I believe that a website has become an essential promotional
tool for artists: it allows anybody from anywhere in the world to
see artwork quickly and freely. I also believe getting a website
should not be a painful or expensive endeavor, and I have made every
effort possible to offer website design with you, the artist, in
mind.
